Friends, Last night, Kathie seemed to just look at me and study my face for a long period of time. Many nights, I make sure the TV is positioned to catch her eye, on her right side, and she will move her head to gain a better position. Then, I massage her neck and shoulders as she is looking away from me and I check my email with the other hand. Last night was odd because she seemed to look at me as I sat on her left side. Note: she seems to favor looking to her right side, probably caused by her right-brain injury and her ability to see better on the right. I glanced at her as I was checking my email and realized that she was looking at me and I'd better give her my undivided attention. I spent the next 30 minutes taking to her, massaging her neck and telling her how much I love her, followed by a kiss. When it was time for me to go, I gently moved her head to the right, she focused on the show "Pickers" and I said, "Goodnight sweetheart" as I kissed her che...
