From today's Jesus Calling titled "Keep Your Eyes On Me!" Keep your eyes on Me!  Waves of adversity are washing over you, and you feel tempted to give up. As your circumstances consume more and more of your attention, you are losing sight of Me. Yet  I am with you always, holding you by your right hand. I am fully aware of your situation,  and I will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear.   Your gravest danger is worrying about tomorrow. There are still more trials, joys, temptations, battles, defeats, victories, prayers, answers, toils, and strength yet to come." Streams in the Desert, December 31. I began December 31 running my five mile loop and setting a personal best for that course, I ended the day sitting next to Kathie rubbing her neck telling her, "I love you." This holiday season (October 31 to January 1) has not been an easy time. The work to complete decorations, shopping, care giving and even praying require labor and much focus, not as much enjoyment when completing the tasks.I tried to balance my weariness with prayers for friends who have lost loved ones this year and would go through a holiday season missing a part of their family. Kathie cont...
